Your Mission
You’ll take ownership of core accounting processes, ensure accuracy across our books, and contribute to an efficient and transparent month-end close process. You will take over existing accounting processes while helping develop and implement new ones as we continue to build and scale our financial operations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Own day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities, in compliance with German commercial and tax regulations.
  • Actively support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in close collaboration with the Controller and external partners.
  • Prepare accounting data and documentation for tax filings in collaboration with our external tax advisor.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of balance sheet accounts through regular reconciliations.
  • Contribute to management reporting and financial analyses as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardise, and automate accounting processes, driving efficiency and scalability within the finance function.
  • Work closely with the Controller to further develop our finance operations as the company continues to grow.
Your Profile
  • Completed vocational training or a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with solid hands-on experience in German accounting and tax rules.
  • 2–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally in a growing or dynamic environment.
  • Sound understanding of consolidation principles and their application in an accounting context.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting systems.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a Controller and broader organisation.
  • Demonstrated interest in process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains, with a proactive and change-oriented mindset.
  • Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a high level of discretion and ownership.
  • Good working proficiency in English and the ability to work professionally on finance and accounting topics in German.
